AllSaints: Statement Jewellery

Firstly I need to appologise for it being so long since my last blog! This is partly due to getting a new flat, being very busy at work and being just generally out and about. But last Saturday as I sat around a table with four girlfriends getting ready to paint the town red there was a debate and divide that I had to share with you all. This was AllSaints jewellery and more specifically how gorgeous it is vs. price.

Now the back story is that like a lot of people, none of us really have a lot of money to burn but my best friend and I before the evening's antics went to Westfield shopping to find outfits during the day (as you do). She found a gorgeous blue Topshop dress for only £40 but we were both in agreement that she needed a statement piece of jewellery to wear with it. After trying the cheaper alternatives (trust us we did look) we were both in agreement there was only once place we could go to find an array of beautiful statement pieces.

To give you an idea of the beauty and wonder we encountered check out some of the range currently on their website below:

Alivia

Asante

Berber

Chareau

Cinta

Veneza

These lovely collection pieces range from £40 - £130 and can be found here:
UK: http://www.allsaints.com/women/jewellery/
US: http://www.us.allsaints.com/women/jewellery/

The piece my friend purchased was the Chareau Pendant Necklace at £75. http://bit.ly/slolpP

She and I think this was a beautiful piece that could be worn again and again to liven up the simplest outfit and therefore a wise investment. However despite the chorus of "I love your necklace" when she arrived this quickly turned into"you spent how much?!"

What are your thoughts? Gorgeous collection and well worth it or too pricey for these pieces?

I am firmly on the well worth it side and currently eyeing up the Chareau Bracelet in Jet Rust £50 http://bit.ly/u7r8XR
